In August we announced that the International Business Awards (IBA), the world’s premier business awards program, had recognized our team as Customer Service Department of the Year in the Computer Hardware, Software, and Services category. Receiving the IBA’s Gold Stevie® award meant industry recognition of the hard work of our Client Services team. Last Monday, three members of our Client Services team – Yit Lam, Julie Kelly and Edward Kim – travelled to Barcelona to accept the award on behalf of Firmex.

So what makes Firmex’s customer support so exceptional? Our people. In addition to providing timely and expert advice, our Client Services team works hard to develop personal connections with each client. It’s these personal connections that help differentiate our support team from any other. Our personal and consistent level of service means that clients will even call in for help using other applications outside of Firmex. In one instance our Support Manager, Edward Kim, received a call from a client frustrated with a spreadsheet. He then contacted his wife, an Excel whiz, to help resolve the issue.
At Firmex, we are dedicated to our clients’ overall success, which sometimes means helping them with things beyond our own product. It’s examples like this that demonstrate why our clients love calling in. We’re able to provide valuable support by first understanding them and their business. To be honoured as Customer Service Department of the Year is all thanks to the hard work of each member of our Client Services team.
