The DealRoom is Looking for Writers!

We're looking for writers! Share your career stories, advice, and opinions.

The DealRoom reaches tens of thousands of dealmakers each week through its website and newsletter. We’re proud of the community we’ve built, with interesting, dynamic professionals who tackle tough challenges every day. Now, we want to get you involved.

We’re looking for your stories, advice, and opinions. Tell us what you’ve learned across your career, what you’ve done, and what you wish you would’ve done. Give us your tips and insights from the field, whether you’ve been there for three months, thee years, or three decades. Let us know what you think about about current news trends, and tell us who’s wrong and who’s right.

Here are some questions to get you started:

-What is the hardest part of your job?
-What is your advice to aspiring M&A professionals?
-What mistakes have you made that you wish you could’ve avoided?
-What’s happening in the market that people aren’t talking about enough?
-What’s the roughest spot you’ve hit in a deal, and how did you get through it?
-What are the biggest challenges you face on a day to day basis?
-What do you do for play? Or is there no time for play? (In which case, let’s talk about that.)

These are just some ideas – as you can see from looking around on The DealRoom, we cover a wide variety of subjects related to M&A culture. So feel free to be creative.

We know that not everyone can put their thoughts on record in a public forum – and that’s fine. We’re happy to keep your real name anonymous if you want us to. Conversely, if you are trying to get your name out there as a writer or thought leader, we’re also happy to help with that.

What we want are your stories. So get in touch!
