In an effort to enhance Firmex’s usability for an increasingly global client footprint, we’re excited to announce that Firmex is adding German and Spanish to the existing supported languages – English and French.
What’s changing?
All four languages will be available to users in the Firmex User Interface as of June 17, 2025. Additionally, support will be available in all four languages through a combination of the Firmex Knowledge Base, support chat, and by telephone.
In conjunction with the expansion in supported languages, the means of selecting your preferred language in the Firmex User Interface is evolving. Users have two options for selecting their preferred language: it can be chosen on the login screen or in users’ Personal Settings once logged into a data room.
What’s staying the same?
While the language selection process has evolved with the expansion of supported languages, Firmex will continue to “remember” a user’s preferred language during their active session and across any and all Firmex VDRs to which an individual has access.
Additionally, Project administrators will continue to be able to invite users in their default language of choice through the user invitation process, with expanded support for German and Spanish invitations. Whichever language is used for the invitation will set the initial language for the invited user.
When will I start seeing changes?
The expansion of supported languages and related changes to the Knowledge Base go live on June 17, 2025, for all Firmex sites and users.
