If you are requesting a new username and password, email your name, email address and firm name to support@firmex.com. You will receive an email with a link to your firm’s Firmex site and a username and temporary password so you can login.
If you forget your password or are having trouble logging in, click the reset password button on the login page of your firm’s Firmex site and a new password will be emailed to you.

All projects involve organizing files online and inviting users to access and collaborate on those files. To make this process fast and easy you can:
- Create your file structure as a list in excel or as a windows folder structure
- Collect the documents you want to upload in a folder or the windows folder structure
- Collect the names and email addresses of everyone that will require access to the project
- Set up your project on your own, view our video demonstrations or contact us for help

File structures can be uploaded using our excel template or they can be organized ahead of time by creating a windows folder structure. Files can be uploaded manually on the web. All you need is their name and email address. When you create the account for the user you will use their email address as a username and Firmex will automatically generate a temporary password and email it to the new user along with a link to the project. All of your data is stored with SunGard, a SAS70 Type II certified data facility. All data is secured with 256 bit encryption.
Routine, scheduled maintenance can occur weekly between 10:00pm EST on Fridays and 5:00am EST on Sunday. Scheduled maintenance typically will not exceed 15 minutes per weekly occurrence.
