Firmex allows administrators of projects to manage what users can do in the deal room and how documents will behave, all from one convenient screen. Permissions can be changed on the fly while you project is live.
Administrators can define what functionality is available to each user, including access to sharing files, collaborating on files, search, reports, and the working group. Within a project, you can also define access to each file structure and each document, which gives you complete control and flexibility in managing user access.
Firmex has Digital Rights Management (DRM) capability embedded. This allows you to define for each user how PDF documents will behave. You can restrict printing and saving and apply a watermark. Because DRM is attached to the document, it will follow the document wherever it goes and you can change the DRM security after the document has been released to users, and the new security settings will be applied.
