Firmex Offers New Account Pilot Program

Jan 3, 2007

Due to popular demand, Firmex is offering private-label deal room set up, instruction and unlimited usage for six months for up to ten law firm employees for a flat fee.

Being able to prove the value of the technology prior to making a large commitment is a welcome relief for law firms. With no IT infrastructure costs, extensive training or set-up fees, lawyers can set up any number of deal rooms at any time - for transactions of any size and scope.

Unlike other deal rooms that charge by the page or deal, Firmex is a software developer that licenses their self-service technology. “Firmex does not sell an event-based service. Our users are transactional lawyers, who are continuously involved in some sort closing negotiation or diligence work and they are logging into their deal room on a continuous basis. It makes managing transactions efficient and provides a superior service to clients” says Robert Wilder, Director of Client Services at Firmex.

“We have found many law practices are eager to get going shortly after their first presentation, and run some deals online. Since our application is simple to use, and lawyers and their legal staff can set up new deals without technical assistance, it’s very feasible to run cost effective pilots” says Wilder.
